This Feb. 14th, we decided to forego dealing with the swarms of people heading to NY restaurants. Joe made dinner for us and it was one of the best dinners ever:
1. Appetizer: shrimp cocktail
2. Entree: lobster pie w/ a baked potato and creamed spinach
3. Drink: chardonnay
4. Dessert: chocolate fondue
We ordered the fondue kit from Fresh Direct (pictured above). It came with an entire pound cake, a container of strawberries, pineapple, and a chocolate bread bowl to put it all in. It is so huge that it has turned into snack, dessert, and breakfast for the past 3 days. A+ choice.
That said, I have been stuffed for days.
